This amp sounds MASSIVE! It is a solid solution for gigging light but not wanting to go the digital multi-fx route. It has that big-tube-amp-feel and responsiveness without weighing 60 pounds; and it is definitely an amp that's tailored to metal and heavy riffs. My favorite thing about it is the simplicity. You can plug it in and turn everything to 6 and you'll have an absolutely massive tone right there. But if you wanted to get nerdy with it, you can do MIDI (adapter included) and dial in a wide variety of tones with it.

Even if you're a big tube amp purist, this would be an awesome back-up solution that still has that analog tube amp feel but it can fit in your gig bag easily. But I definitely think this thing can be the main gigging rig as well!
