This is a 2001 Gibson ES-335 made at the Nashville factory.
This particular example features an attractive figured top with a nice wood grain.
There are some minor scratches and signs of aging on the hardware, but no major damage. Please refer to the photos for the details of the condition.
Notable marks include:
- Lacquer burn on the back of the neck from contact with a guitar stand
- A thin scratch (approximately 3 cm long) along the edge of the binding
- A small dent on the side of the body
The neck appears to be almost straight by visual inspection.
String height at the 12th fret is approximately:
- 1st string: 1.5 mm
- 6th string: 2.0 mm
The frets are estimated to have more than 80% of their original height remaining.
The guitar has been tested through an amplifier, and all pickups and controls are functioning properly.
Weight: approximately 3.7 kg
The original Gibson hard case is included. The case shows scratches and wear consistent with its age.
An appealing ES-335 with an attractive figured top and a comfortable weight. If you’re looking for a Nashville-made ES-335 from this era, this is well worth considering.
