Yamaha SHS-10S keytar in fair condition. The keyboard as well as all the buttons function well as a MIDI controller, which is how most people use this model today, as its built-in sounds are quite dated.Visually, the instrument is in remarkably clean condition for its age but offered as a MIDI controller due to the following issues.
It has two known issues: 1) The internal sound engine is unreliable. It sometimes produces a constant tone, and at other times there is no sound at all. 2) It does not power on using batteries. However, it works properly with a 9V center-negative power supply, which is not included in the sale.
