Dean Boca 12 string 2005 - Gloss

Up for sale is a gorgeous, like-new Dean Boca 12-string semi-hollow electric guitar in a stunning amber flame maple finish. This Korean-made instrument is an absolute joy to look at and play, but what truly sets it apart are two major, professional-grade upgrades that completely solve the common factory flaws of this model.

If you know the Dean Boca 12, you know they sound a bit dark stock and suffer from notorious headstock neck dive. This guitar has been thoughtfully upgraded to be the ultimate gigging or recording 12-string:

GFS Retrotron Pickups Upgrade: The stock humbuckers have been swapped for a brand-new set of Retrotrons. These pickups deliver that classic, bright, Rickenbacker/Gretsch-style vintage chime and "jangle" that a great 12-string deserves, giving you incredible note definition.

Custom Strap Balance Bracket: To permanently fix the neck dive caused by the 12-tuner headstock, a custom-machined metal extension bracket has been seamlessly integrated into the neck plate. This shifts the strap anchor point perfectly forward, completely balancing the guitar so it sits beautifully and comfortably against your body when standing.

Immaculate Condition: Cosmetically and structurally in like-new condition. The finish is flawless, the frets show no wear, and the Grover tuners hold rock-solid stability.

This is a turn-key 12-string that plays comfortably, sounds vastly superior to a stock factory model, and is ready for the stage or studio.
