I purchased this microphone through my engineer colleague, the late great Craig Burbidge. Another platinum selling artist from Asia was using it with great success, and thought at it's pricepoint, would be a great addition to my studio. It was and has been!
Other than a ding in the mic screen packing up after a session, it works and sounds beautiful. I do not record much this days, preferring when the need comes up to go to larger facilities. It is time for this gem to find a new home.
I reached out to Neumann Support and based on the serial number, went thru their archives to validate that it was manufactured in 1999 in Germany. That's customer service for you!
