Neck is in great shape. This neck is the modern version of Yamahas 1st gen YTS-62 neck, but should play great on most Yamaha tenor saxophones. I bought a few at once to compare and this one was just a bit too focused sounding for me, but there is nothing wrong with it. The tenon has not been fitted to a receiver yet, and the neck was only used about a dozen times in total. The cork has been sanded some, but should still fit most mouthpieces, in case you do not wish to have to replace it. the pad seals perfectly, of course.
