The Starling Via SCANNER is a multichannel 3D wavefolding distortion. Think of it like multi-dimensional wavetable synthesis - except distortion!

The Via platform is programmable and hackable, the Starling site provides 7 official firmwares using Viaflash (including oscillators, envelopes, and gate generators). Their Github page provides the source as a starting point to make your own firmware.

RARE (this is the only listing Reverb has ever seen) and discontinued. I bought this unit directly from the creators in person. I hope Starling comes back someday.
