Celebrating The One That Started It All - Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Here are Truetone, were are proud to be a PRS dealer, and were excited to get the Limited Edition Custom 24 Tiger Eye as part of their 40th Annviersary celebration.  Now, a couple of years later, we're excited to see it back here.  We sold it to a long-time customer/collector friend of ours, and now it's available again as part of an estate collection.  The guitar was never played, so it's in pristine shape.  The original hardshell case and everything else is included.  Essentially, it's new - but since it was previously owned, we're listing it as used.  That makes it a great deal.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this amazing Custom 24 is ready to go.  Here's the original write-up for it: Introducing the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition, celebrating four decades of PRS Guitars. Limited to 400 pieces worldwide, this special edition features both traditional design features and new appointments, making it an essential piece for serious musicians and collectors alike.  A signed Certificate of Authenticity is be included.     Built on the tried-and-true foundation of a mahogany back and neck with artist grade maple top, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 boasts a retro violin top carve, PRS “Old School” birds with outlines, and PRS “Pre-Factory” headstock eagle, all of which pay homage to early PRS guitars.   Outside of these aesthetic attributes, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 is looking ahead with its all-new PRS DMO Treble and Bass pickups. DMO pick-ups (DMO standing for Dynamic, Musical, Open) were spec’d by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team to have a wide open sound with vocal character.
Other classic Custom 24 appointments include the PRS Gen III patented tremolo, PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, and PRS Signature 10-46 strings. This limited edition also features a ziricote fretboard and headstock veneer.
