Pre-owned Ibanez Roadster II RB888 ‘The Bean Bass’ in Metallic Black Finish in used condition.
Various scratches and ‘buckle rash’.
Has a few cracks on the body only which look like the result of a fall. None of these are deep (as shown) and could be described as suface damage. Could be re-finished if necessary. Damage is reflected in price although none of these make any difference to playability, which is great!!
The RB888 also know as “The Bean Bass” is a solid body electric bass model only available in Ibanez for 1984.
Made in Japan by FujiGen.
The RB888 features a double-cutaway alder body with flat top.
Bolt On maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard.
White dot position markers, white side dots and matching metallic black headstock.
Super J6 passive pickup.
Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing
Plastic nut, Velve Tune BII tuning machines and Ibanez “Dead End” strap buttons.
Has also had the addition of a Hipshot Bass Xtender for Drop ‘D’
August 1983 Production serial number.
Fitted with ‘Luminous’ DR Strings
Fret and Neck condition are very good.
