Here's a 1968 Gibson Dove in Natural finish. This classic square shoulder dreadnaught features a Sitka spruce top, highly figured curly (flame) maple back and sides, and Grover tuners. The pickguard is aftermarket, and the heavy ABR-1 bridge has been replaced for a bone saddle. The rest of the guitar is original, and crack free! The guitar delivers the classic crisp & clear Dove tone, while the saddle change warms it up. And there's plenty of room in the saddle to shave down in the future if desired. But it really sounds and play great. Only other thing to notes is there's a few divot spots on the fretboard (2nd and 4th frets) that have been filled, so everything's smooth. The frets have good life left as well. Awesome overall piece. There's nothing like a vintage Dove! HSC
