The YAMAHA SG2000 is the flagship model of the legendary Yamaha SG series, renowned for its exceptional sustain, premium construction, and powerful tone. Favored by countless professional musicians, it remains one of Japan's most iconic electric guitars.

The guitar features a maple top over a mahogany back with an ebony fingerboard, producing a rich, powerful voice with deep lows, singing mids, and excellent sustain.

One of the SG2000's defining features is its through-neck construction, which enhances sustain, structural stability, and upper-fret accessibility, making it equally suited for rhythm and lead playing.

The electronics include dual humbuckers with independent volume and tone controls, a three-way selector switch, and push-push coil-tap switches integrated into the tone controls. This allows players to switch between thick humbucker tones and brighter single-coil-style sounds, making the SG2000 remarkably versatile.

Weighing 4.94kg, the instrument offers the substantial feel and powerful resonance expected from this flagship model.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows scratches and signs of normal use, but overall remains in very good condition considering its age.
