Eastman’s SB55 series guitars honor some of the earliest slab-body favorites, with 1-piece solid Okoume body and neck, truetone varnish finish*, and single dog-ear P-90 pickup. But in addition to the simplicity and vibe, these guitars’ modern features make them easier to play and better sounding than the originals.

The Lollar “50’s Spec” P-90 delivers authentic tone and CTS 500K pots (no-load tone pot) and Sprague Orange Drop capacitors guarantee clean, reliable performance. An ebony fingerboard with 12” radius offers easy string bending. Hardshell case included.

The Truetone Vintage gloss finish is Eastman's new finish that gives this guitar the look of an aged instrument. It doesn't have the factory relic treatment that comes with Eastman's antique varnish finishes. The Truetone Vintage gloss is very thin—almost matte—and has similarities of a nitro finished guitar.
