The Danelectro Wasabi Distortion (AX-1) is a heavy-duty, feature-packed pedal. It gives thick distortion, long sustain, and deep tone shaping. Key specs include dual-band EQ, a wet/dry mix control, a built-in volume boost, and a hidden slap-echo effect.

Core Features

• Controls: Level, Tone (separate Bass and Treble), Mix (blends clean and distorted signals), and Distortion.
• EQ Switch: 4-position fixed EQ curve selector.
• Boost: Built-in multilevel Lead Boost (5dB or 10dB) controlled by its own footswitch.
• Pickup Selector: A back switch to match input for single-coil or humbucker pickups (or off).

Hidden Feature : Under the battery door, there is a secret button that activates a slap-echo doubler. This adds a quick repeating "slapback" delay to your signal.
