Description:

Up for sale is a preowned 98 Audio Hair Metal Dual Op Amp Distortion pedal in mint condition. The original box is included.

The Hair Metal is based on the cult-classic DiMarzio Very Metal pedal from the 1980s, a high-gain distortion that developed a loyal following long after it was discontinued. Unlike many modern high-gain pedals, the Very Metal used dual op amps to produce a tight, articulate distortion with plenty of output and a surprisingly wide EQ range. 98 Audio's recreation stays true to that original circuit while bringing it into a modern boutique format, making it a great option for fans of '80s hard rock and metal tones or anyone looking for an overlooked vintage distortion.
