1998 Peavey USA Wolfgang Standard Hardtail

Up for sale is a beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find 1998 Peavey USA Wolfgang Standard Hardtail in the desirable Amber Transparent finish over a highly figured carved flame maple top.

This is an early USA-built Wolfgang from the Eddie Van Halen era, featuring the sought-after hardtail/stop-tail configuration, birdseye maple neck, and original EVH-designed electronics. The top on this guitar is exceptionally clean and presents beautifully, with deep flame figuring that really pops in the light.

The guitar has been very well cared for and is completely stock to the best of my knowledge. It was recently restrung with a fresh set of EVH 9s and plays great with comfortable action and excellent fret life remaining.

Condition: Very Good

Stunning, highly figured flame maple top in excellent condition

Birdseye maple neck with smooth satin feel

Original USA Peavey Wolfgang pickups and electronics

A few small dings and scratches on the sides and back (all pictured for complete transparency)

Frets are in very good shape with plenty of life left

Includes the Original Hard Shell Case (OHSC)

I have included detailed photos of the cosmetic imperfections so buyers know exactly what they're getting. Overall, this is an exceptionally clean example of a relatively uncommon early USA hardtail Wolfgang.

Shipping: The guitar will be professionally packed and shipped by my local UPS Store. I prefer to have them handle all packing and shipping duties so the instrument arrives safely and securely.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you'd like additional photos.
