Technics RS-671 is a classic vintage cassette deck with substantial build and traditional analogue styling. Confirmed features include a 2-motor transport, HPF head, logic control, illuminated VU meters, and aluminum front panel and knobs.

Its visual character is a big part of the appeal: real switches, lit meters, and solid metal controls create the tactile experience many vintage audio buyers are looking for. It can suit a period-correct hi-fi stack, a restoration project, or a display-focused listening room.

This unit is presented honestly based on the available source data. Because the source set contains a defect disclosure alongside a working statement, the buyer should treat the condition as requiring careful review and purchase accordingly.

Collector’s / Model Note
The RS-671 belongs to the era of mechanically focused cassette deck design, where transport layout, control feel, and front-panel presentation were central to the product experience. For buyers who enjoy vintage tape equipment, models like this remain attractive for their hands-on operation and classic meter-based styling.
