1998 Fender Collector’s Edition Telecaster, Number 656 of 1998. Overall it’s in good condition with some minor player wear and upgrades. There are a few small dings that don’t photograph very well. There is some checking in the nitro topcoat here and there. The finish on the forearm bout is wearing through. Frets in good shape with no grooves.
Upgrades/mods:
Pickups replaced with OC Duff Plankster and Big Boy (custom gold cover). The original neck pickup was damaged when I bought the guitar so I replaced both
Harness replaced with one where the tone control is only connected to the bridge pickup.
Music City Bridge/Glaser 3 string tree.
Glendale Twang saddles.
Electrosocket jack.
Pickguard replaced with one from AllParts. (Original was broken)
Ashtray bridge cover, original pickups, harness and jack hardware included. I may be able to find the original string tree.
Does not include original case but has a Fender Classic Series Navy case.
