I just recently flew to Newfoundland with this instrument along with my Ibanez MC200. I got my main luthier to completely make both better than they came from the factory for playability.
This is ready for the stage.
All electronics are original except for 3 way switch and 9v connector and have been cleaned - checked and played through.
Original 3way and 9v tab included.
This spent a full day on the bench. Got the pitted bridge and tailpiece cleaned up a bit.
All electronics including preamp work and have been tested throughly.
Body & Neck Construction
Neck Type: Neck-through-body configuration featuring a 7-piece rock maple and black walnut laminate build.
Body Wings: Multi-layer construction consisting of a mahogany core sandwiched between ash outer layers.
Top Design: Distinctive carved top contour.
Fretboard: Polished ebony fretboard decorated with premium abalone dot position markers.
Frets: 24 medium-jumbo frets.
Scale Length: 24 ¾ inches (628 mm).
Nut: 1 11/16 inch width, utilizing a half-bone, half-brass nut configuration for optimized open-string resonance.
Electronics & Control ArrayPickups: Dual Ibanez Super 88 Tri-Sound humbuckers shielded in gold covers.
Passive Layout: Master volume knob, master tone knob, and a 3-way toggle pickup selector switch.
Tri-Sound Controls: Two independent 3-way mini-toggles that configure each pickup into Series (Humbucking), Parallel, or Coil-Tap (Single-Coil) modes.
Active EQ System: An on/off active preamp mini-toggle pairing with a preamp gain boost knob and a 3-band EQ layout (separate bass, midrange, and treble cut/boost knobs with center detents).
Hardware & AestheticsBridge System: Gold-plated Gibraltar bridge anchored directly into an embedded brass sustain block routed deep inside the body core.
Tailpiece: Gold-plated Quik Change slotted tailpiece decorated with a triangular "cloud" ornament plate.
