Selling an original Gibson Humbucker Pickup Set (490R Neck and 498T Bridge) with original factory chrome covers in excellent condition. Perfect upgrade to transition your rig from warm, dynamic organic blues to tight, punchy hard rock and heavy metal tones.
Technical Specs:
- Gibson 498T (Bridge): Factory original 4-Conductor wire. Perfect for complex modern routing like coil-splitting, series/parallel, or phase switching. Alnico V magnet with focused mids and great definition for tight riffs and drop tunings.
- Gibson 490R (Neck): Traditional braided shield vintage wire. Alnico II magnet providing a warm, creamy, and singing tone with endless sustain (perfect for John Mayer or Slash leads).
- Condition: Impeccable structural and functional condition. Very clean chrome plating with a subtle, elegant natural patina. Very long leads on both pickups, ready to drop into any Les Paul, SG, or Superstrat without extensions (see pictures with measuring tape).
