Your Schecter PT electric guitar sports a stylish Telecaster-inspired look with its single-cut alder body, and powerful classic rock tone modeled after renowned axe-slinger Pete Townsend from The Who. Its bright and snappy maple neck houses 22 XJ frets with comfortable action. The Grover Rotomatic tuners offer an 18:1 gear ratio to provide finer tuning capability, and a pair of Schecter SuperRock II humbuckers with push/pull coil-tapping provides your amp with troves of tone to play around with. Even Eddie Vedder has been known to shoulder this bad boy -- try one on, and you'll see why so many guitarists rate it so highly!

Slick-Looking Alder Body

The Schecter PT's alder body features a single-cut contour that looks sleek and grants your fingers easy access to those higher frets. Alder is a medium-weight tonewood that resonates a full-bodied tone with focused lows and beefy mids. The highs are there, but they're less emphasized here than in brighter-sounding woods like maple.

Maple Bolt-on Neck in Thin C Shape

The maple neck on your Schecter PT features 22 XJ frets with comfortable action and smooth playability. Bolt-on necks have more twang and snap when compared to set necks. As a tonewood, maple has a rounded rightness that'll help your signal cut through the mix. Also, if you're not into bulkier necks, the thin C shape of this melodic appendage will afford a better fit for your hand.

Two Hot-Sounding Schecter SuperRock II Humbuckers

A pair of Schecter SuperRock II humbuckers boast a powerful and punchy output. Alnico-V pole pieces in each humbucker will push the mids -- perfect for the lead player. Utilize your push/pull tone control to engage single-coil mode for a hot vintage tone and greater sonic variety.

Secure and Precise Hardware

The Grover Rotomatic tuners on the headstock have a 18:1 gear ratio, which allows for finer tuning and increased stability. The PT-H bridge employs a string-through-body configuration for greater sustain and a smoother transfer of sound.
