The WA-CX12 features a custom edge-terminated, all-brass CK12-style capsule, known for its ability to smooth the high end while delivering a natural, open sound. This high-performance capsule ensures that your recordings maintain the vintage clarity and warmth found in the original. Unlike later nylon iterations, this capsule stays true to the original design, providing the clear and dynamic top-end that defines the vintage tube mic sound.

Premium Components for Superior Sound

The WA-CX12 uses a high-end 12AY7 vacuum tube, chosen for its warmth and clarity. This tube complements the CK12-style capsule, helping to add depth and richness to your recordings without harsh high-end. Combined with the custom AMI USA-made transformer, the microphone captures every detail with a full, natural sound. Premium capacitors and a carefully designed PCB ensure the lowest possible noise floor, ensuring crystal-clear audio with zero distortion.

Built for Performance & Durability

The WA-CX12 is housed in a rugged nickel-plated brass body, designed for both studio and live performance environments. Its durable build ensures it can withstand the rigors of the road while maintaining its superior sound quality.
