All I can say is wow!

This is an incredibly hard to find and rare Fender Custom Shop Artisan Spalted Maple Strat.

It features a Madagascar Ebony fingerboard and Mother of Pearl inlays with a beautifully flamed maple back of neck and head stock.

This beauty plays out of this world and has incredible tonal range. This is the axe that once you pick up, you never want to put down.

The build quality, craftsmanship and level of detail in this instrument is impressive. Even the pick guard and rear cover are done in an elegant gold finish. I purchased an added original Fender vintage style tortoise shell pick guard and rear cover to change up the look, but haven’t put it on.

Fender Custom combined beautiful tone woods with hand wound Custom Shop Poblano Strat pickups and the result is tonal bliss. The Madagascar Ebony fretboard combined with tall-skinny 6105 frets plays incredibly well and highly collectible.

I purchased this beauty new for my collection and played it only to test out on arrival. I have stored it carefully in a humidity controlled environment. This is a rare, collectible and extremely hard to find instrument, especially in this mint unplayed condition with this gorgeous spalted maple figuring.
