Zak Starkey's The WHO Zildjian Custom "RAF Target" Logo 22" Cymbal from Super Bowl 2010 Halftime Show. Signed by The WHO!!

Zak Starkey played this custom graphic Zildjian 22" cymbal for The WHO's performance at the 2010 Super Bowl halftime show at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The cymbal was part of a matching set custom made specifically for the band's Super Bowl performance. This is the only cymbal from that set that is signed by The WHO's Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend and Zak Starkey.

The performance was seen by over 150 million viewers. The cymbals is painted in a red-white-blue target graphic. The graphic is based on British Royal Air Force markings used to identify their aircraft in World War II. The WHO unofficially adopted the graphic as their logo in the 1960s and has been closely associated with the band ever since.

Spoiler Alert!! The painted graphic deadens the sound of the cymbal to the point that it nearly silent. Due to security precautions, The WHO's live performance seen on TV showed the band lip synching to a previously recorded audio track. These nearly silent cymbals were well suited to the performance.

The cymbal shows some minor signs of wear but remains in excellent condition.

The cymbal is hand signed by The WHO members Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend and Zak Starkey.

The cymbal includes a matching one of a kind Zildjian case also signed by Zak Starkey and Pete Townsend and a pair of Zak Starkey's hand signed signature model drumsticks.
