Fender Fender Rhodes 73 Mark 1 1974

Here is a great deal on a nice Fender Rhodes Mark I that appears to have been made in 1974. This Rhodes is clean and in good condition, as you can see.

All keys and pickups work as they should, all parts are present, and it is ready for the discerning player to tune up and use. It did have a “bump kit” installed.

Of course, many would like to customize to their personal liking and do the usual mods and setups found online. If so, there are a fair number of spare parts to get you started on that journey.

DISCLAIMER 1. The tone and volume knobs are from Vintage Vibe, but they don’t fit well at all! Perhaps some plumber’s tape wrapped around the pot stems might work, who knows. But V.V. does sell the correct knobs for around $15 bucks.

DISCLAIMER 2. One of the braces is homemade, yet it works just fine. I didn’t want to spend a million bucks on a fresh brace from V.V.

This is a pickup-only item located in Redding, California, 96001. I do not want to go through the hassle of shipping it for you. That said, if you pay for and handle all the logistics, including arranging transport and insurance, I might, and I stress might, consider delivering the unit to a local (Redding) trucking company. I have had items delivered to me via XPO and similar services; we would need to talk about that.

Now, here’s a cool service I will offer. As I would really like a caring musician-type person to buy this Rhodes for an extra $150.00, I will drive it down south only as far as Sacramento or Oakland, California. And I will drive it north only as far as Eugene, Oregon. If you’re any closer, do the drive yourself, and I’ll help load you up.
