EVH Striped Series '78 Eruption White with Black Striped Relic 2022

This is the EVH Striped Series '78 Eruption, a tribute to Eddie Van Halen’s legendary 1978 “Eruption” guitar.

Finished in the iconic White/Black striped pattern with factory Relic treatment, this model captures the unmistakable look and spirit of Eddie Van Halen’s original instrument while delivering the powerful tone that defined an era of rock guitar.

Built to a higher specification than the standard Striped Series models, it features a brass nut, a vintage-style tremolo equipped with a brass block, and an EVH Wolfgang humbucker. These components contribute to the guitar’s outstanding sustain, dynamic response, and unmistakable EVH-inspired sound.

The quartersawn maple neck and 12"–16" compound radius fingerboard provide exceptional playability, making it equally comfortable for aggressive rhythm work, high-gain riffs, and fast lead playing.

As shown in the photos, the guitar remains in excellent overall condition with plenty of fret life remaining. The neck is straight, and all electronics function properly.

Also included is a vintage-style Fender tweed hard case, valued at approximately $200 USD. With its classic appearance and durable construction, it offers excellent protection during storage and transport while perfectly complementing the guitar’s vintage-inspired aesthetic.
