The AC Booster V2 retains the classic Volume, Gain, Treble, and Bass controls from the original version, allowing you to shape your sound from a subtle, glassy crunch to a powerful, roaring distortion. Still not enough gain? Kick in the additional Boost control to add a clean boost, exciting your amp — and your audience — with even more saturation and sustain. The extremely touch-sensitive nature of the AC Booster V2 reacts to your picking dynamics just like a classic tube amp. Moreover, rolling down the volume on your guitar emits a low-gain, gritty tone while still sounding balanced and musical. To further refine your sonic profile, four DIP switches are found on the side of the pedal to boost various frequencies as well as augment the overall gain structure. Even More Power

Fans of the original AC Booster are excited about the expanded feature set the V2's DIP switches have to offer. The Mode switch is sure to inspire; it alters the gain structure of the pedal from the original AC Booster to a newer, modernized version with even more gain on tap. For most players, the Treble and Bass controls are more than enough. They’re still active and very responsive, meaning they both cut and boost their respective high and low frequencies. However, if you find your mix lacking in certain midrange frequencies, the Lo Mid and Hi Mid Boost switches are available, bumping those frequencies up by 6dB and pushing your tone into sweet harmonic bliss. Finally, the Compression switch tightens up your sound, offering more articulation and clarity.
