This is rare-- a Kluson "single-line", "single-ring" tuner from 1947 -1952. This tuner would have been used as OEM on a '52 Les Paul. It would also be correct for an ES-175, ES-300, L4C made between '47 and '52.
It is in excellent original condition with a nice patina, minimal corrosion, a straight shaft, the original Keystone button, the PAT APPLD and patent number on the back. It is sealed (no hole on side).
