For sale: Beautiful 1999 Gibson ES-335 (Serial #91769424) – Flame Top Beauty in Excellent Playing Condition

This is a stunning 1999 Gibson ES-335, made in Nashville, TN on June 25, 1999 at the Gibson USA factory. 1999 is widely regarded as a highly coveted year for Gibson electrics, with many players and collectors praising the era for its strong build quality, excellent tonewoods, and attention to detail that delivered instruments rivaling the best Gibsons ever made.

The guitar features an incredible flame top with stunning, eye-catching figuring that really shows under the finish. It's light for a 335, very acoustically resonant and has a dark rosewood fretboard. It was also nitro sprayed for a classier finish that breathes more (newer Gibsons aren't nitro sprayed). The Walnut gives it the look of a standalone mature instrument that stands out from the predictable Cherry red etc.

The gold hardware has developed a natural aging that many enthusiasts actually prefer—it adds character and avoids the sometimes overly flashy look of brand-new shiny gold, though I've been assured that the pickup covers can be easily changed to new ones by a luthier if desired.

It’s in good condition overall with a couple of slight dings on the body and back of the neck—nothing structural or tone-affecting, just honest light play wear. It comes with its original Gibson hard case, plus I've got the original shipping box and packaging materials from a previous guitar sent to me me from a guitar shop which I will reuse when sending. The guitar has been set up to perfection over days and plays incredibly right now—low action, great intonation, and effortless feel.

When I ship it, I’ll loosen the strings for safety; you’ll just need to retune and it’ll be ready to go. It also includes fitted strap locks and I'll throw in a good quality strap with the strap locks fitted to it.

I've attached a video of me playing this exact guitar.
