Original vintage 1967 Gretsch 6122 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman in gorgeous playing condition, complete with original case!

This old gent is a special one, with a magical neck, excellent frets, and those gold supertron pickips are hot, nasty, and just perfect. Worthy of a George Harrison. As a rule, these are pretty killer axes, but this one has a little bit of extra sauce. Everything went right on this one, must have been Friday at the factory.

Cosmetically, she’s quite lovely as well, with lovely patina, and a fairly minimal amount of the old Gretsch binding-itis; notable at the pickguard mount, and professionally chemically stabilized to prevent future deterioration. 100% original, no cracks, breaks, or funny business. Total keeper.

She ships in the original, beat hard shell Ess & Ess case pictured. Enjoy!
