Up for sale is a Gibson ES-225T Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1955–1959) in Sunburst.

This guitar is used and in very good cosmetic condition for its age, with great playing performance. It is a very clean example overall. The body shows clear coat checking throughout, which is completely normal for a guitar of this era. There are also a few light nicks and scratches, but nothing that takes away from the overall look.

The back of the neck has some small nicks and pressure dings, but they do not affect the feel or playability. The frets are in good shape, and there are no dead spots on the neck. The guitar has been set up with medium-low action and plays very well. There are no cracks or breaks anywhere on the guitar. Anything in the photos that might look like a crack is going to be a weird reflection from the light in out shop.

Please note:

• The pickguard is missing
• The knobs may not be original
• These models can be a bit sensitive with tuning stability due to the tailpiece design, but function as expected
• The truss rod works properly
