10 reels of 2” Ampex 499 Gold multitrack tape in excellent condition
• Packed 3 reels per box, 4 boxes in total
• Average box weight: approx. 15kg
• Box dimensions: 40cm (L) x 35cm (W)
• Tape dates from around 2000 (when manufacture quality was still high)
• Hardly used and no leader tape (Only used once for backing tracks over a 10 day session which were immediately transferred to Pro Tools)
• Stored throughout in a humidity-controlled professional vault (Sony /BMG)
I have just tested the tape to make sure here is no shedding, and it is running perfectly with no issues at all . I'm happy to sell individual or smaller quantities of reels.
