Vintage 1970 Conn 12M Baritone Sax (Low Bb) - Untested, Clean Pads, Smooth Action

Up for sale is a vintage 1970 Conn 12M baritone saxophone, Low Bb model. I’m not a player myself, so this horn is being sold strictly as-is/untested — I can’t verify exact playability or promise it’s gig-ready. That said, it’s mechanically very clean and appears well-maintained. All keys move effortlessly, feel snappy, and spring right back up, with no stuck or sluggish action anywhere. The leather pads look fantastic — bright orange, supple, and clean, with no rotting or green buildup. The neck is included and fits the horn nicely, though I can’t confirm whether it’s original to the instrument.

A hard case is included as well. It protects the horn well, but has a typical vintage musty odor and two broken clasps, so I’d recommend using a luggage strap for transport.

Because I can’t personally guarantee how it plays, I’m pricing it accordingly to reflect its untested status. Serious buyers are encouraged to bring their own mouthpiece and reeds to test-play before purchasing.
