Gibson Les Paul Deluxe — Cherry Sunburst (1976)
Made in USA (Kalamazoo, Michigan)

A real-deal Norlin-era Les Paul Deluxe in classic Cherry Sunburst, set up and ready to rock. This one wears its 49 years honestly and has been modified into a fantastic player: the body has been opened up from the factory mini-humbuckers to a set of Gibson '61 humbuckers (Alnico V) — PAF-voiced with extra cut and punch that make this a killer rock and lead machine — and a phase switch has been added for extra tonal options, a popular "Deluxe-to-Standard"-style conversion. It's also been treated to a fresh refret with jumbo frets, making it a smooth, fast, modern-feeling player up and down the neck. You still get all the vintage mojo: the layered mahogany/maple pancake body, chunky 3-piece maple neck, bound rosewood board with trapezoid inlays, and those big Grover tuners. A genuine slice of '70s Gibson history at a player-friendly price, and it comes with its original hardshell case. Weighs in at a beefy 10 lbs 5 oz — these Norlin-era Pauls have that dense, sustain-for-days character.

Please note this is a modified instrument (see below) and is priced accordingly — a great way into a vintage USA Les Paul.
