Performance

The Nord Piano 6 features a redesigned panel with LED faders for Piano and Synth sections, plus dedicated knobs and buttons for quick access to essential controls. Its dual Piano and Synth engines can be layered or split across the keyboard, with each layer having its own Effects section.

Piano Section

Loaded with Grands, Uprights, and Electric Pianos from the Nord Piano Library, the Piano section introduces Dynamic Compression and Unison for enhanced realism. The included Nord Triple Pedal 2 unlocks Advanced String Resonance and Dynamic Pedal Noise for expressive play.

Sample Synth Section

The Sample Synth offers two independent layers with updated sounds, including strings, brass, basses, guitars, and classic synth tones. It features samples from Spitfire, Symphobia, and Swing libraries. Controls include attack, decay/sustain, release, and dynamic response. Advanced features such as Unison, Tru-Vibrato, and Round-Robin add depth and realism to performances.

Effect Section

Each layer has its own expanded Effects section with new Reverbs, Delays, Amps, and Modulation effects for creative sound shaping.

Nord Sound Libraries

Easily swap samples using the Nord Sound Manager and access the extensive Nord Sound Libraries or import custom samples via the Nord Sample Editor.
