Optek Fretlight 400 with Fender Hard Case

Here is a Fretlight Optek 400 Red Solid Body Electric Guitar with a Fender Hard Case. The case is in excellent condition. The guitar is used. Has some dings/chips and some wear on the fretboard. The neck is in good shape but I felt a minor ding on the top and bottom by the 4th fret. Maybe how the previous owner use to rest the guitar; just guessing. The frets are for the most part pretty flat; found some minor rocking in a few places. It actually does not play that bad. Now for the good news. All the lights work and all the guitar electronics have been updated along with the pick guard. The inside has been foiled creating a "Faraday cage" to help block outside electromagnetic interference and radio waves; reducing noise from outside sources like radio waves and lights. You can see this in the pictures.

Fretlight 400 and I believe 500 Series guitar need software to make the lights work. If you are running an older operating system you can find and download, for free, the FretLight software. If you are running a current OS you will need to use the guitar with a paid program like Guitar Pro. I am not that familiar with Guitar Pro but I did get a copy and the guitar lights do work with the program.

So if you are a beginner or advanced there is some advantages of the lights. They are not the biggest or brightest but it is a clever concept. Do some research. Watch some YouTube. If you think you would like to have one of these, here is your chance to get a decent one with a nice Fender Hard Case.
