Here for sale we have a Taylor GS Mini Mahogany Acoustic Guitar in Natural Satin finish. Made in Mexico in 2013, the GS Mini was initially released in 2010, and quickly became one of the company's most popular models. Featuring the standard bolt on neck construction for easy adjustments, the GS Mini is crafted using a Layered Mahogany back and sides with solid Koa top, a 20-fret Mahogany neck, and a West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard & bridge.  A NuBone saddle & nut are fitted, along with a set of Chrome sealed tuning machines. 

As with all Taylor guitars the neck is extremely comfortable to play, with a slim shape carved into a profile which somewhat resembles a very soft 'V' shape. The open pore finish of the neck paired with the ebony fingerboard provide a smooth feel in the hand, further improving the already excellent playability. The scaled down Grand Symphony body size produces an astounding tone for such a small instrument, and thanks to the Mahogany construction delivers a rich and complex tone not normally found in smaller guitars. The smaller body and scale length also makes it extremely comfortable to play, and will suit those who find a typical dreadnought a little cumbersome.

The acoustic voice of the Taylor GS Mini Mahogany is rich and well balanced, and is perfect for a wide range of genres & playing styles. With plenty of warm bass thanks to the Mahogany construction, and an even response across all of the strings thanks to the small stature of the body, the instrument is well equipped for both strummed parts & fingerstyle playing alike. The top projects well, and resonates beautifully when playing. These are really fun guitars which look great, are very comfortable to play and produce a beautiful tone.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The edges, particularly the top front edge, demonstrate light indentation that does not pierce the finish. Light scratching to the front face is visible under close scrutiny. 

Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light indentation throughout which is difficult to discern from the open pore finish. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has worn to a light gloss consistent with playwear. 

Body: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates moderate wear to the finish which reveals the base coat beneath beside the soundhole and pickguard. Light indentation and scratching to the lower bout and sides of the body is somewhat difficult to discern from the natural finish. In high contact areas such as the treble side waist & bass side edge of the lower bout have worn to a light gloss consistent with playwear. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate moderate signs of wear, with indentation in the early register and some flattening of the crowns throughout. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work.
