Jackson has been closely tied to high-performance hard rock and metal guitars since the company’s early 1980s Southern California period. The American Series brings that idea into current USA production, with the Virtuoso introduced as a modern bolt-on counterpart to the American Series Soloist that keeps the familiar Jackson pointed headstock, fast compound-radius neck, Floyd Rose tremolo and direct-mount humbuckers.

This 2023 American Series Virtuoso is finished in Satin Shell Pink with a colour-matched bound headstock and black hardware. The body is alder, paired with a bolt-on five-piece caramelized maple and maple neck with graphite reinforcement. This particular guitar has a very nice streaked ebony fingerboard, with rolled edges, offset mother-of-pearl dot inlays, Luminlay side dots and 24 jumbo frets. The neck is designed around modern Jackson playability, with a 12" to 16" compound radius and a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel.

Electronics are a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 at the bridge, a Seymour Duncan ’59 SH-1N at the neck, master volume, master tone and a five-way blade switch with both full humbucker and split-coil combinations. Hardware is a Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo, Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons.

This guitar is in very good condition with very minor playwear, frets at around 95%, and a couple of dings on the back lower bout. Weight is 3500g. Includes the original Jackson foam-core softshell case in good condition.
