1970s-1980s LoPrinzi LR15-S Acoustic Guitar with L.R. Baggs Pickup System

Good Condition.

The LoPrinzi LR15-S is a handcrafted acoustic guitar built in Plainsboro, New Jersey by Augustino LoPrinzi and his workshop. LoPrinzi guitars were produced in relatively small numbers and are known for their hand-built construction and traditional design.

This guitar features a dreadnought body shape, natural finish, rosewood bridge, black Grover tuning machines, and an L.R. Baggs soundhole-mounted pickup system for amplified use.

Condition:

The finish exhibits extensive checking and cracking throughout the clear coat, particularly across the top, headstock, and neck heel areas. Based on visual inspection, the cracks appear confined to the finish and do not appear to extend through the wood. The guitar shows scattered scratches, dings, and finish wear consistent with age and use.

The back of the headstock shows finish checking and finish loss near the tuner area. This guitar also features an L.R. Baggs Anthem soundhole-mounted pickup system.
