Yamaha SLG200N Nylon String Silent Guitar
Equally capable for practice, travel or stage use and the exclusive SRT-Powered pickup system gives incredibly natural acoustic tone to the PA or acoustic amp (or through headphones for practically silent practise). Studio-quality on-board effects give it a sonic edge and a line-in function lets you play along or add performance monitoring.
The Rosewood and maple frame takes seconds to assemble and within a few more seconds of playing, you forget that there isn't really a full guitar there because everything about it feels familiar and comfortable.
At the heart of the SLG200N is Yamaha’s Studio Response Technology pickup and preamp system, which models the sound of a concert nylon-string recorded with high-quality microphones in a professional recording studio. The system includes the usual tone controls, plus a blend knob for adjusting the ratio of sound coming from the under-saddle pickup versus the preamp’s modelled sounds; another knob lets you graduate between different digital reverb and chorus effects.
