Used Ibanez BTB1005 Prestige 5-String Bass Natural Flame Maple MIJ w/ Case

This Ibanez BTB1005 is a serious Japanese-made 5-string bass from Ibanez’s upscale BTB / Prestige-era lineup. The BTB series stands for “Boutique Bass,” and this model delivers exactly that feel with a 35” scale, wide string spacing, active electronics, Bartolini pickups, and a beautiful natural flamed maple top.

This bass features a flamed maple top over a mahogany body, bolt-on 5-piece maple/bubinga neck, rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, 24 frets, Bartolini pickups, active onboard EQ, Mono-Rail bridge system, and Gotoh tuners. It is a modern, powerful 5-string with great clarity, strong low B response, and the kind of Japanese build quality players look for in older Ibanez basses.

Condition:

This bass is in Good condition with visible cosmetic wear from use. There are scratches, scuffs, dings, finish wear, and darker marks on the back of the body. There is noticeable wear along the body edge/side, and the neck pickup cover area shows wear around the mounting screw/corner. The bass presents very nicely overall from the front, with an attractive flamed maple top, but it does show player wear when inspected closely.

The included hardshell case shows normal exterior wear from use.
