GJ2 by Grover Jackson Shredder FR Gloss Black 2015 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a GJ2 by Grover Jackson Shredder FR Electric Guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in South Korea in 2015, this guitar features a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo, Hipshot Staggered Locking tuners, a locking nut, and Chrome hardware. The pickups installed are a set of Habanero Classic Humbuckers that are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with its ‘C’ profile and satin finish providing smooth and effortless navigation up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a luxurious and smooth surface under the fingers as well as offering a robust playing surface, and with its 10"-14" compound radius and Jumbo frets allows for enhanced string bends and vibrato techniques and delivers a tailored playing experience in any position. The double cutaway body design provides uninhibited access to the upper register.

The pair of Habanero Classic humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver heavy, crushing tones that are perfectly suited to the fast and furious heavy riffing as well as clean articulate single note lines. The neck pickup is round and powerful, easily pushing your solos to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is brighter, and with a higher output delivers brutal, searing rhythm sounds that retain plenty of definition in the low end for those drop tunings. A lovely workhorse guitar that will bring hours of playing enjoyment to its new owner.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is most apparent to the  treble side of the front face.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Very light denting of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching is present to the pickup covers and pickup rings. Tremolo arm included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
