Pioneer DDJ-FLX4-W Carry Case Bundle: The White Controller That Travels Protected

The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4-W is the white-finish version of Pioneer's most popular entry-level 2-channel controller, and this bundle pairs it with the one thing every gigging DJ learns they need on the second trip out the door: a real case. The Magma MGA47998 CTRL hard-shell case is purpose-cut for the FLX4 footprint, so the controller you mix on at home is the controller that survives the trunk, the venue floor, and the overhead bin. This is the grab-and-go rig for the mobile DJ, the wedding and party DJ, and the student hauling gear between dorms and gigs — clean white hardware that arrives at every booth looking as good as the day it shipped.

How Smart Fader and Smart CFX Turn a Beginner Into a Confident Performer

The FLX4-W is built around two features that close the gap between bedroom practice and a live set. Smart Fader automatically matches BPM, volume, and bass between tracks as you move the crossfader, so transitions land clean even before your beatmatching is automatic. Smart CFX maps layered multi-parameter effects to a single knob per channel — filters, echoes, and sweeps performed with one hand while the other works the jog wheel. A new DJ sounds polished on day one, and the manual skills develop underneath the safety net instead of being a barrier to playing.

8 Performance Pads, a Built-In Sound Card, and a Layout That Mirrors Club Gear

Each deck carries 8 multi-function performance pads driving Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump, and the Sampler — the same pad workflow that runs across Pioneer's larger DDJ and XDJ hardware. A built-in 2-channel sound card means a dedicated 3.5mm headphone output for cueing the next track and a 1/4-inch mic input for talkover and announcements, with the master output on RCA feeding powered monitors or a venue PA. The control layout deliberately echoes Pioneer club standards, so the muscle memory you build here transfers straight up the line when you step onto bigger gear.

One USB-C Cable, rekordbox and Serato DJ Lite, and a 4.63 lb Chassis

A single USB-C cable carries both audio and bus power, so the controller runs straight off a laptop or compatible mobile device with no separate power brick to lose or pack. The bundle ships with both rekordbox and Serato DJ Lite licenses and works as a hardware surface for the rekordbox and Serato mobile apps, so you can perform from a laptop, a tablet, or a phone. At 18.98 x 10.74 inches and just 4.63 pounds, the white chassis is light enough to carry anywhere — which is exactly why a protective case matters.

The Magma MGA47998 CTRL Case Closes Over the Controller — Even With a Decksaver Installed

The Magma case is not a soft sleeve. Its Durashock molded EVA foam shell absorbs impact while a water-repellent polyester exterior sheds light moisture, and the lid is lined with removable high-density egg-crate foam that presses down over the jog wheels, faders, knobs, and pads to immobilize the control surface during a bumpy ride. The interior is cut precisely to the FLX4 footprint, and the case is engineered to close even with a Decksaver lid still installed — protection layers stack instead of competing for space. A full-perimeter zipper seals it shut.

Built for the Trunk, the Venue, and the Overhead Bin

At a compact 20.5 x 11.8 x 3.9 inches and 2.7 pounds, the MGA47998 fits most airline overhead bins and slides inside the Magma Rolltop III Backpack for layered travel. Padded carry handles and a detachable shoulder strap make the walk from the car to the booth easier on the hands and back. Lift the controller in, zip it shut, strap it on — no flight-case bulk for a 2-channel rig, just light, fast, protected transport.

For the Mobile DJ Who Packs Fast and the Beginner Who Wants to Start Protected

This bundle is for the first-time buyer who wants to start right — controller and case in one order, nothing to source later after the first scratch. It is for the mobile and wedding DJ who carries the FLX4-W to a different venue every weekend and needs gear that shows up ready. And it is for the upgrader who wants the recognizable Pioneer pad workflow and a white aesthetic to match their setup, packed in a case engineered specifically for it. One purchase. Carry it, protect it, play it.
