Very rare (made in limited numbers for around a year between 2011/2012) American Vintage Reissue '69 Thinline Telecaster.
You don’t often see these come up for sale, but it’s virtually unheard of to find it with every single bit of case candy unused. It’s got the strap, the grey lead, all the hangtags, ashtray, tools and even the alternative wiring diagram that fender supplied.
Like all AVRIs, it’s finished in Fender vintage lacquer, designed to wear (relic) naturally.
It’s incredibly light (about 6lb) and sounds fantastic. You still get all the Tele’ tones, but Thinlines seem to add a bit more warmth when you roll the tone back.
Original high quality G&G Tweed case.
It’s been well looked after, but the thin skin lacquer has picked up a few chips, please see pics.
