The Hartke LH1000 is a hybrid bass amplifier head delivering 1000 watts of total power through dual 500-watt solid-state power cores, with the option to run channels in parallel or bridged for maximum headroom. At its heart sits a 12AX7 Class A tube preamp stage, lending the signal chain a warm, organic character that sits well under a variety of playing styles. Tone shaping is handled by a three-band EQ covering bass, a mid-peak, and treble shelving, supplemented by selectable Bright and Limiter switches. Connectivity is comprehensive: two front-panel 1/4" inputs with separate sensitivity settings for passive and active basses, a front-panel balanced XLR direct output, a rear-panel effects loop, one SpeakOn output, and four 1/4" speaker outputs. The 2U rack-mountable chassis houses internal fan cooling, making it well suited to both stage rigs and rack-based setups.
