The Taylor Legacy 914ce celebrates one of the most iconic acoustic-electric guitars ever produced by Taylor. Inspired by one of Bob Taylor’s favorite historical designs, the Legacy Series revisits the appointments, tonewoods, and voicing that helped establish the 914ce as a benchmark for premium acoustic performance. Built with a solid Engelmann spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, the Legacy 914ce delivers the lush overtones, piano-like bass response, and sparkling articulation that made the original model a favorite among professional musicians, recording artists, and serious collectors. Unlike modern Taylor models featuring V-Class bracing, the Legacy 914ce returns to traditional X-bracing for the warm, rich voice that defined the classic Taylor sound of the 1990s and early 2000s.
