Offered here is a beautiful Marantz Model 125 stereo tuner, a classic silver-face Marantz component with the unmistakable blue dial glow, smooth gyro-touch tuning, and elegant vintage presentation Marantz collectors look for.

This unit has been serviced, cleaned, and tested in BVA style. The boards were cleaned with electronic contact cleaner, the controls and switches were cleaned, and the knobs were removed, ultrasonically cleaned, and hand-polished. The tuner was then bench tested after service.

The Model 125 features Marantz’s classic gyro-touch tuning, illuminated signal and tuning meters, and a Phase Locked Loop section. It is a great companion piece for vintage Marantz integrated amplifiers and receivers, especially for anyone building a clean silver-face Marantz stack.

The front presentation is strong, especially with the vivid blue LED dial and meter lighting illuminated.

Condition

This Marantz 125 is in very good vintage condition with an excellent front presentation.

The faceplate presents very well overall, particularly when powered on with the blue dial, meters, and indicator panel illuminated. As expected for a vintage component, there are normal cosmetic signs of age, including visible light marks, swirls, and small scratches on the silver faceplate. These are most noticeable around the lower faceplate, left edge, and output-level area.

The black top/case and rear panel also show age-related wear, scuffs, and normal vintage marks.

This is not mint, but it is a clean, attractive, serviced Marantz tuner with a strong front presentation. Please review all photos and video carefully, as they are part of the description.
