This Globe banjolele (banjo ukulele) is a highly collectible vintage hybrid instrument manufactured in the USA during the 1920s and 1930s by the Globe Music Company in St. Charles, Illinois. Globe instruments are famous for their unique, often whimsical "double scroll" or "bell" headstocks. Globe Music Company made affordable stringed instruments (including mandolins and guitars) but is primarily celebrated today for its quirky banjo ukuleles. This instrument is in amazing condition for one that's going on 100 years old. We put new strings on and cleaned it up for you. It plays super easily and has a delightful tone. A name and their identification is scratched on the inside of the resonator. This funky, cute, awesome ukulele is in very good condition and comes with a chip case.
