An ode to older times, the NY series by Martin was a love letter to their original 12-fret models made in their old New York City factory. The smaller body designs and 12-fret neck joints were popular with players in the 60's and these reissue style models sold well. This is the 0-16NY, the parlor sized mahogany one of the two. It can be played with nylon strings or very light steel strings, which ever suits the player. It is in great shape and has a lovely vintage voice, all set to go.
Serial #219973, comes with a non original case. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
