With a size based on the earlier Terz design, these small bodies Martin models were popular during the 50's and early 60's thanks to the students and singer songwriters. Despite it being so small, these guitars sound great and are built with the same craftsmanship and quality of any larger sized model from Martin at the time. Besides replaced bridge pins, this guitar is all original. It sports a 11 1/4" in lower bout and a compact 21 3/8" in scale length. This particular 5-18 sounds great and is in excellent shape.

Serial #131986, comes with a non original case. A K&K pickup has been installed in this example. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
