Ludwig COB (Chrome Over Brass) snare drum from the pre-serial era, approximately 1961-1963. Keystone badge reads "Ludwig Drum Co., Chicago, U.S.A."
5x14" chrome over brass shell with crimped snare beds. Original COB hoops. Ludwig strainer and butt plate. Remo heads included. No snare wires. Shell has a SSID number inscribed
Shell is solid with normal age-related wear. Chrome shows patina and light surface scratches. No major dents. Strainer functions properly.
